Welcome to OLMC Bulldogs baseball! The baseball program was restarted in 2009 by Coaches Joe Peluso, Dan Bradley, Tim Carroll and Joe Iatarola after many years of not fielding a team. In the 2009 season we fielded a Junior Varsity team, and added a Varsity team to our program in 2010.
The primary purpose of our program is to teach and exemplify fundamental Catholic values through the vehicle of sport. We aim to teach the fundamentals of the game and to foster good sportsmanship in competition. All of our coaches have submitted to criminal background checks and have participated in the Safe Environment Program sponsored by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.
The baseball program is open to boys in 5th through 8th grades who are registered members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish.
Registration for the 2011 will begin on January 20, 2011 and run through approximately March 15th.

“St. Paul the Apostle proposed the image of the athlete to the Christians of Corinth in order to illustrate Christian life and as an example of effort and constancy (1 Cor. 9:24-25). Indeed the correct practice of sport must be accompanied by moderation and training in self-discipline. The Christian can find sports helpful for developing the cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance in the race for the wreath that is “imperishable,” as St. Paul writes.”   ---- Pope John Paul II
